Register below to attend the next Lactation Journal Club free of charge.
First established in 1987 with fewer than a dozen participants, Colorado Lactation Journal Club has grown to impact more than 230 key health professionals annually—within a 100 mile radius—who are dedicated to promoting, protecting and supporting breastfeeding.
Regular participants include hospital and community-based lactation consultants; hospital maternity nurses, office nurses and public health nurses; hospital and community dietitians; diverse WIC staff; certified nurse midwives; physicians and medical students; childbirth and parent education instructors; mental health professionals; La Leche League Leaders; doulas and others.
The group reviews current breastfeeding literature, hears from guest speakers, networks with colleagues, learns about national and local breastfeeding initiatives, discusses challenging cases, and previews new educational resources.
Why should I attend?
Attending Journal Club keeps you updated about the latest breastfeeding research, connects you to a valuable network of lactation professionals, awards continuing education credits, including CERPs and CEUs, and gives you an opportunity to enhance your practice by applying new knowledge.
