COVID-19 Response

Providing assistance when and how families need it most

The impact of the COVID-19 public health crisis is global, but the impact of your donation to RMCHF is making a huge difference for babies, pediatric patients and families in the Rocky Mountain region who need our support now more than ever.

  • Patient and Family Assistance is providing housing, food and transportation assistance for families with a hospitalized child who are not able to access support from organizations like Ronald McDonald House, due to COVID-19 restrictions on new admissions.
  • Mothers’ Milk Bank is dispensing record amounts of donor human milk to hospitals, ensuring babies have life-saving nourishment when mom’s own milk is unavailable due to sickness, medications that are unsafe for breastfeeding moms or insufficient supply.
  • Patient and Family Assistance is providing grocery gift cards to organizations who are grocery shopping for their members who receive SNAP benefits but cannot take their immune-compromised children to the grocery store due to the risk of contracting COVID-19.
As we repeatedly hear from hospitals and human services organizations how glad they are that we are here to support them, we want you to know how glad we are that you’re here supporting us. Your kindness means the world to the babies, children and families you’re helping when they need it most.

Your gift makes a difference

The dollars that go to RMCHF go directly to patients and their families and that sets this foundation apart from others where it’s not for the bricks and the mortar and the equipment. It’s really for the families and the patients. - Dr. Steve Leonard
