Gift Gathering Success Stories

L to R: Lee Shaughnessy, Director of Programs, twins Beau & Brody

Meet twins Beau and Brody – two of our youngest philanthropists! B&B started their lives on rocky ground. They were born with significant health issues and received donor human milk from Mothers’ Milk Bank over the several months they spent in the NICU at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. For Christmas last year, RMCHF also provided bikes to Santa so he could deliver them to B&B on Christmas morning. Last week, they turned FIVE! To celebrate, B&B returned to the hospital with treat bags for their care givers. They also threw an amazing Super Hero party and for the second year, collected gifts which they donated to RMCHF for other sick kids. Thank you, Beau and Brody!

Questor Sapnu hosted the No Kids Left Behind, SFC Liam J. Nevins Memorial Toy Drive in benefit of Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation for a second year. His gift gathering has provided over 1,500 toys to pediatric patients and families.

Attendees at the Silver Foxtrot lesson & their teacher (in the snake boa), Morris J. Vaccarella III

The Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Lakewood, CO hosted their annual holiday toy drive and dance lesson on Saturday, December 5. The studio owner, Morris Vaccarella, taught two wonderful and inspiring dance classes that were attended by Arthur Murray students. The admission fee for each class was a new, unwrapped toy. There were 34 toys collected, and all were given to Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation to be distributed to pediatric patients and their families throughout the region.

Layton Construction & Friends
Staff at Layton Construction with the gifts they collected

Layton Construction hosted a Gift Gathering for the months of November and December. We thank Layton Construction, ABG Caulking Contractors, Inc., E Light Electric, and BPA Securities for their thoughtfulness, generous gifts and contributions for this campaign.

The Denver Broncos have been proud partners of Kaleidoscope in past years and have done so to honor the amazing work of RMCHF. The impact they have on those they serve really does come down to enhanced quality of patient and family lives. I feel part of something very special with extremely unique touches and the undeniable spirit of doing good. - Cindy Kellogg, Vice President of Community Development
