Volunteer

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” –Margaret Mead

Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation volunteers play a key role in our success. From all walks of life, our volunteers are united in their dedication to enhancing the lives of pediatric patients and their families.

  • Administrative and Program Volunteer: If you are task-oriented, enjoy customer service, and like working in a friendly office environment then volunteering in a clerical capacity may be a good fit for you. As an administrative volunteer you would assist with filing, assembling new packets for mailing to providers, donation & outreach centers and sites, organizing materials and other tasks around the office. Through the act of volunteering with Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, you are playing an important part in enhancing the lives of pediatric patients and their families.
  • Mothers’ Milk Bank Processing and Warehouse: Mothers’ Milk Bank at Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation continues to be one of the leading nonprofit milk banks in the United States. A pioneer in ensuring the highest quality of donor human milk to medically fragile infants, the milk bank collects, processes, tests and dispenses ‘liquid gold’ to neonatal intensive care units in nearly 160 hospitals nationwide. We’ll be working in the warehouse to help package processed milk for deliveries, sterilize bottles, and keep the space organized. Through the act of volunteering with Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, you are playing an important part in enhancing the lives of pediatric patients and their families.
  • Mothers’ Milk Bank – Donor Screening Volunteer: Volunteers are needed to make donor packets, make blood tube packets, fax donor forms, follow-up on missing donor forms, review unapproved donors for missing paperwork.
  • Special Events Volunteer: Volunteer groups and individuals are needed to help the Special Events Manager with event related activities and volunteer on event days.
